Rancho Pinot Restaurant in Divorce Settlement

You will often see houses, cars and, unfortunately, children caught up in divorce court, but a restaurant?

The award-winning Rancho Pinot in Scottsdale, Arizona was started and owned by husband and wife team Tom and Chrysa Kaufman. She ran the kitchen and menu, he the wine list.

But as things go they decided to separate. Tom has been out of the day to day business dealing with Rancho Pinot for the past four years, since the couple first separated according to Chrysa.

Since deciding to dissolve their marriage four years ago, Chrysa has taken back her maiden name of Robertson. But the high-profile duo's professional partnership continued.

The divorce is now official and according to the settlement Chrysa Robertson gets full custody of Rancho Pinot.

"Rancho is really my baby. I'm excited, and looking forward to a new chapter," Chrysa said.

Tom Kaufman has not been sitting on the couch watching the food network. He has kept himself very busy with his two pizza restaurants (some of the best az pizza around), Humble Pie, one in Phoenix and one in Scottsdale, as well as his new 5th & Wine Scottsdale and The Living Room in Chandler both very popular wine bars.
